A fourteen-member board of Management has been inaugurated for the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital with a charge to the members to see their appointments as a national call to service.
At the inauguration by the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, the new board was told to create the enabling environment that would make the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital a centre of reference in medical excellence.
The new board, the fifth in the history of the hospital, was also told to be patients’ driven and to do everything possible to end the circle of rivalry in the health sector.
