Participants at a Stakeholder submit organized by the SERVICOM Unit of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital want government to give greater support in human and maternal resources to the hospital. This, in the opinion of the Stakeholders, would further equip the hospital iin meeting with rising challenges posed by motor traffic accidents along the ever-busy Lokoja-Abuja-Kaduna highway and referrals from other hospitals.

The stakeholders cutting across the Federal Road Safety Commission, the Nigeria Police, Faith based organisations, the media, market women and other voluntary organisations stressed the need for the government to expedite action on the trauma centre now undergoing construction in the hospital.
