On September 5, 2024, Professor Bissallah Ekele, Chief Medical Director of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Gwagwalada, received Hon. Amos Magaji, Chairman of the House Committee on Health Institutions. The visit was part of the Committee’s legislative oversight function, aimed at assessing the hospital’s infrastructure, medical services, and overall performance.
Professor Ekele highlighted the hospital’s ongoing projects and challenges, while Hon. Magaji reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring UATH’s continued improvement and the delivery of quality healthcare.
