The Management of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital has pledged to give more priority to the training of staff in order to promote efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr.Peter Alabi made the pledge in a message at the end of a workshop on ethics and attitudinal change organized by the hospital in collaboration with the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Badagry, Lagos.

The Chief Medical Director who was represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital, Dr. Haruna Abubakar said the workshop was management’s response to the need for improved attitude in service delivery.

Also in a message, the Director General of ASCON, Mr. Aaron Ajibade Peters commended the Management of the Hospital for its investment in human development. He said the college was pleased to partner with the hospital in this regard in view of the positive impact it would have in service delivery in the hospital. Fifty Staff cutting across the various departments of the hospital participated in the three day workshop.
