The Board of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital has stamped its seal of approval on the promotion of two hundred and seventy-two staff to their next higher ranks. This followed the performances of the affected in the 2018 promotion examination.
Giving the breakdown, the Secretary of the Board and Director of Administration, Mrs. Modupe Adebanjo, said two hundred and forty-one of the promoted staff were in the senior category while the others were in the junior category. A further breakdown of the figure showed that over twenty of those promoted were in the directorate cadre.
In a letter conveying the promotion to the affected staff, the Board said in part: “This is in recognition of your hard work, loyalty, dedication to duty and passing the prescribed examination. Management trusts that you will be able to shoulder effectively the increased responsibilities attached to your new status and maintain the very high standard of the efficiency and integrity expected of you.”
