Taiwo Folashade Elizabeth, a resident doctor with UATH emerges winner of a contest organized by Shalina Rising Star Health Care in Lagos. She won the 1st place at the 2023 grand finale on the 28th of March, 2023 in a keenly contested competition and was presented with a certificate by the President of the National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria, Professor Akin Osibogun supported by Principal Officers of the Shalina Health Care.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Professor Akin Osibogun thanked Shalina Health Care Limited for successfully creating a unique platform for Nigerian doctors to showcase their clinical talents through the program. Responding after the ceremony, Dr. Folashade Taiwo appreciated “God
Almighty for the opportunity, my family for the Support and the Management of UATH for creating the enabling environment for resident doctors”. She also thanked her teachers in Internal Medicine Department, especially Cardiology Unit, Prof. Dike Ojji, Dr. Jacob Alfa and Prof. A. Odili for their guidance and support.
Commenting on the award on behalf of the CMD, Prof. B.A Ekele, the CMAC Dr. Bob Ukonu, congratulated the recipient, Dr. Folashade for winning 1st position in the competition and projecting the good name of the UATH.
