The wife of the Nasarawa State Governor, Hajia Salamatu Al-Makura has expressed delight with the level of care offered by the Management and Staff of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital to victims of the gas explosion in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.
The Nasarawa State First Lady expressed her satisfaction while speaking shortly after her visit to five of the victims accessing care at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. Hajia Al-Makura who is also the Executive Director and Founder, Mother and Child Care Enhancement Foundation, said she was pleased with the care plan put in place by the hospital Management and was optimistic that the victims of the unfortunate incident would regain their health within the shortest possible time. The Nasarawa State First Lady who had on arrival paid a visit on the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Bissallah Ekele, appealed to the Management to do all that was humanly and medically possible for the patients.
Responding, The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Ekele assured the First Lady that the care plan put in place would be followed meticulously to ensure speedy recovery of victims of the gas explosion brought to the hospital.
