Following renewed efforts to get the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Abuja accredited for the study of medicine by the relevant regulatory bodies, the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital says it is fully ready for the training of medical students of the University.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Peter Alabi stated this when he played host to members of the accreditation panel of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria who were in the hospital to assess facilities available in the hospital for the training of medical students.
Dr. Alabi said with over seventy-five consultants cutting across the various disciplines on its pay-roll, full accreditation for the various sub-specialties and many seminar rooms and theatres, the hospital was in a position to offer excellent training for medical students.
